Multi-award-winning actor, author, and entrepreneur Ron Godfrey is bringing the true spirit of Christmas to life this year. On Christmas Eve, Ron will provide meals for 200 unhoused and less fortunate individuals at the Center of Hope Women’s Shelter and Roof Above Men’s Shelter in South Carolina. Fueled by generous donations from fans and supporters, this heartfelt gesture is Ron’s way of giving back to the community and, as he says, a gift to himself.
“Helping others brings me immeasurable joy,” Ron shared. This mission holds personal significance for him. Having endured his own hardships, including the tragic loss of his 6-year-old son, Jeremiah, to DIPG brain cancer in 2022, Ron understands the challenges of facing difficult times. During his son’s battle, fans rallied around him, offering financial and emotional support—a kindness he has never forgotten.
Ron’s community efforts extend far beyond the holidays. Through the Jeremiah L. Godfrey Brain Cancer Research Foundation, he advocates for a cure for DIPG while dedicating himself to uplifting communities year-round. Whether inspiring through his SAG-accredited acting roles in series like The Staircase on HBO Max or empowering readers with his book series Crying Out In The Dark, Ron’s commitment to making a difference shines.
For Ron, success is about more than accolades—it’s about impact. His motto, “Grind & Conquer,” reflects his relentless drive to overcome challenges and inspire others to do the same.
